Be True To You (BT2U), developed in 2006 and Sponsored by JWB Children’s Services Board is a gender specific program for girls 9-11 whose focus is to enrich character, build esteem, make girls feel empowered to find their own voice and validate themselves.
Currently services are being provided to 44 girls at the Life Force Center and 44 girls at the Sanderlin NFC South County, St. Petersburg, Center. These girls also participate in the Life Force Academic & Cultural Enrichment program, which is also conducted daily at the Life Force Cultural Arts center.
As a year round scholarship program for girls ages 9 - 11 years of age, the program offers group sessions in:
* Sewing Classes
* Etiquette Workshops
* Dance
* Drama
* Financial Literacy
* Family Workshops
* Cooking
* Music
* Health
* Hygiene
